Artisan is a 1991 album by the "King of City Pop" Tatsuro Yamashita
Vinnk's Take: This is one of my favorite early 90's CDs. I discovered it only a few years ago, but I have been hearing a lot of these songs as background music in commercials, dramas or while out shopping so the album was instantly familiar. I adore the novelty track "Tokyo’s A Lonely Town" which sung in English and is cover of "New York's a Lonely Town" by The Trade Winds with some small lyric changes. Also the first track "Atom on Ko" is dedicated to the manga artist Osamu Tezuka who had passed away fairly recently. The lyrics refer to Astro Boy/Atom and it totally slaps. "Endless Game" and "Groovin’" also stand out to me. Frankly the whole album is great.

Also during Japanese postal holidays (New Year's, Golden Week, Obon) orders will be delayed while the post office is closed.
