Impressions is the 2nd Greatest Hits album by the "Queen of City Pop" Mariya Takeuchi. This album is often called the “perfect starter” for people who want to get into Mariya Takeuchi's music.
Vinnk's Take: This is probably the album you want to buy to find out if you like Mariya Takeuchi. Or at least the Mariya Takeuchi of the mi-late 80's and early 90s. For me this is a great era. This album went Triple Platinum in Japan and kind of being rediscovered lately as City Pop is making a bit of a comeback and she is one of the most influential artists in that scene. I love the tracks "Single Again", "Genki wo Dashite" and "Eki" but everything on this album was a hit.
