Puyo Puyo Box (ぷよぷよBOX)

Puyo Puyo Box (ぷよぷよBOX) is a 2000 release and the final Puyo Puyo game made by Compile before they sold the series to Sega. For me the Compile Puyo Puyo games are peak and this game is necessary for my collection. It contains the Mega Drive versions of Puyo Puyo 1 and 2 a brand new Puyo Puyo RPG game and a Treasure Mode variation. And importantly, and I am quoting from wiki here: "The key point in the gameplay of Puyo Puyo BOX is that the player can choose a ruleset from either Puyo Puyo, Puyo Puyo 2 (with countering), Puyo Puyo Sun (with countering and Sun Puyos dropping after each counter), and Puyo Puyo~n (with countering and a special gauge, with a select number of specials for the player to choose before a game begins). This can effectively lead to four-player battles where each player plays with independent or mixed rules. The game also allows for team battles to take place." A fitting send off for the Compile series.

The game has been tested and plays great. The photo uploaded is of the actual game I am selling. Make sure that you have the necessary hardware to run Japanese Playstation games before buying. This game will not run on an unmodified US/PAL system. You will need a Japanese PS1/PS2/PS3 or a mod for a US system. It will also play in some PC/MAC based emulators.

CD games will be wrapped in a removable plastic sleeve and then placed in a bubble wrapped mailer for shipping. Please remember, the games will ship from Japan so please allow some additional shipping time. Also during Japanese postal holidays (New Year's, Golden Week, Obon) orders will be delayed while the post office is closed.
