Item description
23-ji no Ongaku is an album by Yoko Kanno feat. Maaya Sakamoto
Vinnk's Take: I bought this CD because I love Yoko Kanno. I didn't lear until years later that it is the soundtrack album to the NHK drama "Mayonaka wa Betsu no Kao" which is a TV series I have never watched. That speaks to how good the album is. I enjoyed it without knowing any of the context. And that's why I will still recommend it even if you have no knowledge of the media it's attached to. It's just some great music. I'll recommend the tracks Here" and "Daniel" but the album is best listed to as a complete work (which I linked below).
Track listing
1. Two Things
2. Here (Maaya Sakamoto)
3. ダニエル (Daniel)
4. Pepper Stretch
5. Kissing the Christmas Killer
6. Trust Me
7. ノエル (Noel)
8. ファド (Fado)
9. タルカン (Tarkan)
10. ペンギン修理人 (Penguin Repairman)
11. 無条件スペクトル (Mujōken Spectrum)
12. Toto
13. 果物ナイフの死 (Death of a Fruit Knife)
14. ノエルのピアノ (Noel's Piano)
This CD has been tested and plays great. The photo uploaded is of the actual CD I am selling. Audio CDs from Japan have no region coding so they will play in any standard player.
CDs will be wrapped in a removable plastic sleeve and then placed in a bubble wrapped mailer for shipping. Please remember, I ship from Japan so please allow some additional shipping time. Also during Japanese postal holidays (New Year's, Golden Week, Obon) orders will be delayed while the post office is closed.
