Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden (ドラゴンボールZ 超武闘伝) is a 2D fighter and is the first installment in the Super Butoden series. The game was released in Japan on March 20, 1993.
Super Butoden features 13 playable characters (Goku, S.Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, S.Vegeta, Frieza, Cell, P.Cell, Trunks and the Androids #16, #18 and #20/Dr. Gero) and its story mode spans from the final saga of Dragon Ball to the conclusion of the Cell Games.
No Japanese skill is needed to play the game (it's a fighter) but an understanding of the anime or manga will enhance your enjoyment of this game.
The game has been tested and plays great. The photo uploaded is of the actual game I am selling. Make sure that you have the necessary hardware to run Japanese Super Famicom games before bidding. This cart will not run on an unmodified Super Nintendo system. You could buy a pin converter or look on the internet to see how to mod your super Nintendo for free in 5 minutes with nothing more than a pair of pliers.
Loose Super Famicom carts will be wrapped in a removable plastic sleeve and then placed in a bubble wrapped mailer for shipping. Please remember, the games will ship from Japan so please allow some additional shipping time. Also during Japanese postal holidays (New Year's, Golden Week, Obon) orders will be delayed while the post office is closed.
